Donker's GD5500EP 7kVA 230V Gasoline Generator

Donker's GD5500EP Gasoline Generator

It is a robust and versatile piece of equipment, manufactured to provide electrical power in various situations, such as domestic use, construction work, agricultural activities, or as an emergency power source. This generator allows you to power power tools, construction equipment, and various appliances simultaneously when there is no access to the electrical grid. This model is equipped with a single-cylinder 4-stroke gasoline engine with air-cooled OHV technology. The engine has a power of 13 HP and a displacement of 389 cc, and the CDI ignition system contributes to reliable starting and efficient fuel combustion. In terms of performance, this Generator offers a nominal power of 6.3 kVA and a maximum power of 7 kVA. It has a #236fa1;">control panel quite intuitive and is a Generator that normally operates at a frequency of 50/60 Hz and offers adequate voltage for use with various electrical appliances. The AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulation) system helps maintain a stable current, protects connected devices against voltage variations and ensures a more consistent power supply.

The equipment has manual and electric start! The fuel tank has a capacity of 28 liters, which allows several hours of continuous operation(depending on the load applied). Furthermore, the engine has an oil capacity of approximately 1.1 liters, which ensures adequate lubrication and contributes to the generator's durability and optimal performance over time. The generator has a weight of 91 kg and features a solid construction, reinforced structure, and a carrying handle. Accessories included: Electrical plug (Schuko), Maintenance tools, and #236fa1;">Single-phase industrial plug

Pre-Operational Verification
Please perform the following preparations before operation to ensure proper functioning of the generator; otherwise, it may result in damage to the equipment and reduced durability. Engine Oil Level The engine contains a small amount of oil when you purchase the generator. Before operating the equipment, please fill it with the appropriate amount of the correct type of oil. SAE 10W-30 motor oil is recommended for general use in all temperatures.

NOTE:Perform the check only when the unit is switched off and on a level surface.

Remove the oil filler cap and clean the dipstick

Insert the dipstick into the oil filler hole without screwing it in

If the oil level is below the lower mark on the dipstick, add oil until it reaches the upper mark

Retighten the oil filler cap/dipstick and secure it safely

Pre-Operational Verification

Fuel Level

To ensure proper operation of the generator, it is recommended to fuel the engine with new unleaded gasoline or higher, following the steps below.

1 - Place the unit on a level surface.

2 -Remove the fuel filler cap.

3 - Check the fuel level and add fuel if necessary. Be sure not to overfill!

WARNING!Fuel expansion in the tank can cause spills and possible fire or explosion.

Please do not fill the tank to the brim; leave room for fuel expansion.

4 - Fill the fuel up to the shoulder of the filter/fuel filter.

5 - Replace the fuel filler cap and tighten it securely.

WARNING! Do not add a mixture of gasoline and engine oil intended for 2-stroke gasoline engines and do not use old fuel. Prevent foreign objects such as dust, water, etc. from entering the tank. Empty the fuel from the tank and carburetor if the unit will not be used for a long period, as fuel degradation during prolonged storage can make it difficult to start the engine.

Safety Instructions
Warning: Danger!

  • Carbon Monoxide - Do not operate the unit in enclosed or partially enclosed spaces, such as rooms, basements, garages, caves, tunnels, etc. Using a generator indoors (or in enclosed or partially enclosed spaces without good ventilation) CAN KILL IN MINUTES. The generator's exhaust gases contain carbon monoxide, a colorless, odorless, and deadly gas.
  • Electric Shock - Do not operate the machine in humid conditions. The generator produces a high voltage; operating in humid conditions can cause electrocution.
  • Fire and Equipment Damage - Do not connect the generator to the building's electrical circuit. Incorrect connections can damage the generator or cause a fire. Fire and/or Explosion - Keep flammable materials at least 1 meter away from the equipment. The generator produces heat during operation. Operating near flammable materials can overheat them, causing a fire. Gasoline and its vapors are highly flammable and explosive under certain conditions and can be easily ignited by cigarette butts, sparks, open flames, hot surfaces, etc. Take care to avoid fuel spills during refueling. Be sure to refuel only after switching off the engine. Burns - Be careful with hot surfaces. The muffler gets very hot during and immediately after engine operation. Accidental contact with hot surfaces, such as the silencer, can cause severe burns. Children - Keep children away from the unit while it is operating.
