Lithium-ion batteries require a different way of charging and discharging. To ensure that the battery can be used for a long period of time, it should never be stored completely discharged, but it should not be stored fully charged either. Out of season, when stored, it should be kept at around 40-50%. Never store a completely discharged battery for an extended period.
