This Hecht Electric Scarifier is a lightweight and easy-to-use machine!
It is powered by a 1500 W electric motor. It includes a cutting roller for tilling and aerating the lawn (verticulation) and a wire roller for removing thatch and moss.
Scarification ensures that your lawn receives more light, oxygen and other nutrients, allowing it to grow more beautifully. Scarifying removes the layer of dead thatch and moss, allowing the grass to spread properly again. Scarification should only be done in dry weather!
The working width of the rollers is 32 cm. The rollers can be changed as needed. The blade roller with 16 blades is mainly intended for grass cutting, usually in spring and autumn.
In turn, the wire roller combs thatch and moss from the lawn during the rainy season. The working depth of the blade roller can be adjusted in the range of -12, -8, -4 and 4 mm. The wire roller can then be adjusted to a working depth of -4, 0, 4 and 12 mm. The adjustment is made centrally via the control element on the left-hand front wheel. The cut and combed waste is collected in a 35-liter capacity basket. The recommended area for scarification is up to 800 m²!
