The comparative test was conducted by RISE SMP, based in Umeå, Sweden. The objective of the test was to determine the difference in cutting ability between the Husqvarna 592XP® Evolution and the Stihl MS 661 C-M, and it was performed with six different ready-to-use products, respectively.

Result
All saws were put to work in pairs - a Husqvarna saw and a STIHL saw, and the results of each pair were calculated and then put together to achieve an average percentage difference.
After the test, the conclusion was that the Husqvarna 592 XP® offers a 4.6% greater cutting capacity than the competitor.
