What to do before using the 3-Leg Cast Iron Pan for the first time?


A: It is important to season the Pan before using it for the first time.

Seasoning is a simple process. Spread a generous amount of cooking oil or animal fat over the surface of the pan and heat it over a flame, or even on the stovetop, for 1 hour.
Seasoning should be done every 5 washes, as soap or detergent eventually removes the grease. This process protects the pan from rusting.

How to wash the 3-Leg Cast Iron Pan?
Use neutral soap, preferably bar soap, as detergent leaves residue in the pores.

How to preserve the Pan?
To dry, use a heat source, sun, stovetop or flame. Never dry with a cloth.
