It is particularly suitable for filtering wine, water, infusions, beers, pharmaceutical solutions, perfumes. It does not require any special maintenance, other than normal cleaning. Filtration is the last stage of wine production and requires knowledge of some fundamental care.
A young wine (30 days old) is not ready for fine filtration. Following our instructions, you will find the right way to achieve good filtration with the COLOMBO® FILTER PULCINO®. For best results, the wine should be aged for at least two or three months and brought to room temperature before filtration. During this time, the wine takes shape and allows most of the suspended particles to settle. At this point, use the COLOMBO® FILTER PULCINO® to finish the wine. If you want a superior finish, use the brightening filters. Remember to wait two to four days between filters. If, on the other hand, you want to filter a young wine (30 days old), you should always use a coarse filter first; immediately afterwards you can use a finishing filter. During filtration, the young wine is agitated by the presence of CO2 (carbon dioxide) generated during fermentation; Wait a few hours before bottling the wine. The pump can be used to transfer any type of clean, commonly used liquid that is not chemically aggressive or abrasive.
Some examples: water, wine, milk, vinegar, low-viscosity oily solutions, neutral fluid detergents, diesel.
Normal maintenance requires few and simple interventions, as if it were a normal household appliance. After use, pour clean water to rinse the internal surfaces of the pump. The electric motor does not require maintenance; there are no parts to lubricate. The external parts should be cleaned with a slightly damp sponge and then dried immediately with a cloth.
