Shipping Costs
1.1. Mainland Portugal
Orders placed on bernardinos.com can be picked up free of charge at:
  • Logistics Center and Headquarters – Mundão Industrial Zone, lot 12, 3505-459
  • Viseu – National Road No. 231 Fraction A, Cabanões, 3500-883 Viseu
  • Santarém – Santarém Industrial Zone, lot 10, 2005-002 Santarém
  • Algarve – Bernardinos Building, N125, 8365-032 Alcantarilha
1.2. Free Shipping
For all orders in mainland Portugal with a value exceeding €50 and weighing up to 30kg, shipping is free.
1.3. Autonomous Regions of Madeira and Azores
Orders destined for the autonomous regions of Madeira and the Azores will have additional shipping costs depending on the destination island and the chosen transport method (air or sea). You should contact Bernardinos so that we can process your order. You can do so via email at cliente@bernardinos.pt
1.4. International Shipments
All orders will have an additional shipping cost depending on the destination indicated by the user.
1.5. Shipping costs are variable and subject to change, which will be communicated to the customer in advance when applicable.

Delivery Conditions

2.1. Upon delivery of the item by the carrier, the customer must ensure that the packaging does not show any visible damage. If it does, the customer must open the packaging and check for any damage to the equipment. If any damage is found, the customer must refuse to accept the item and describe the damage observed on the packaging and/or equipment on the carrier's delivery note.
2.2. Immediately inform bernardinos.com by calling 232 424 626/912 247 292 or preferably by emailing cliente@bernardinos.pt, attaching images of the damage.
2.3. If damage to the product is detected after opening the packaging, and despite its apparent good condition, the customer must contact bernardinos.com within 24 hours of receiving the order, using the contact details mentioned in the previous point.
2.4. The products will be shipped disassembled in their original boxes.

Shipping Costs
3.1. Shipments via carrier in mainland Portugal have the following costs:
Up to 2 kg – €6.50
Up to 5 kg – €8.00
Up to 10 kg – €9.00
Up to 20 kg – €11.50
Up to 30 kg – €15.00

Additional kg – €0.47

Weight/Volume Ratio (WVR): 280 kg/m3

3.2. All these values include VAT at the legal rate in force.

Delivery Times
4.1. For orders destined for mainland Portugal, and due to the current situation, there is an average delivery time of 48 to 120 business hours after payment confirmation, with the average delivery time being 48 hours. After this confirmation, the items will be shipped from our warehouse by 3 PM each business day.

4.2. All products marked "made to order" are products that will take more than 48 hours to be delivered. We recommend that you contact bernardinos.com via email at cliente@bernardinos.pt
4.3. If you do not receive your order in a timely manner, you should contact bernardinos.com using the contact details mentioned in point 2.2. We emphasize that it is the customer's sole responsibility to be contactable through the number provided when requesting the order and to remain at the indicated location for its delivery.
4.4. Orders placed and paid for between 3 PM and 12 AM on each business day will be processed on the next business day.
4.5. For the Autonomous Regions and depending on the Islands, the delivery time may vary between 8 and 25 business days depending on the shipping method chosen.
4.6. For deliveries in Europe and the rest of the World, delivery times vary according to the destination and the type of transport chosen.
4.7. There is a possibility that the delivery of orders may, in specific cases, be delayed due to stock shortages or adverse reasons (weather conditions, strikes, etc.).

User Obligations
5.1. When placing an order, the user agrees to:
I) Provide correct and complete personal data and addresses;
II) Receive the order – there must always be someone available to receive the order at the address provided;
III) Not use false identities;
IV) Respect the terms of use for orders;

5.2. If any of the data provided by the User is incorrect or insufficient, and for this reason there is a delay or impossibility in processing the order and delivering it, the User is responsible.

5.3. To proceed with the redelivery of the order, the User will have to pay the redelivery fee.

Order Status
During the ordering process, the customer will receive several emails regarding the status/phase of their order.
These are:
Awaiting payment – The order is awaiting authorization from the entity responsible for the selected payment method
In Processing – The order has already been authorized and registered in our database and is awaiting logistical processing
Completed – The order has already been prepared, invoiced and sent to the indicated address

Resolution and Return
7.1. In accordance with Article 10 of Decree-Law No. 24/2014, of February 14, the consumer has the right to terminate the distance contract, without having to indicate any reason, within 14 days Counting from the following dates:
  • From the date the order is received by the customer or by a third party indicated by them (except the carrier), or;
  • In the case of an order with several products shipped separately, from the receipt of the last item.
To exercise the right of free withdrawal, the consumer must communicate their decision to bernardinos.com through an unequivocal statement (by registered letter, email or appropriate form), within the legal deadline.
The product must be returned in the same condition in which it was delivered, preferably in the original packaging and without signs of misuse, accompanied by all its components (manual, accessories, etc.).

7.2. Returns due to Defect or Shipping Error
If the item is defective, damaged, or does not correspond to the order placed, the customer must contact bernardinos.com within a maximum of 14 days after receipt, presenting proof of delivery and the invoice. In these cases, the customer may choose to:

  • Exchange the product for another identical or equivalent one;
  • Full refund of the amount paid, including shipping costs;
  • Credit for future purchases, of equal value to the returned item.

7.3. General Conditions for Exchange or Return
Returns or exchanges will be accepted provided that:

  • The product is in new condition, without any signs of misuse;
  • The original packaging is in good condition and has not been tampered with, including any warranty seals;
  • All components included in the packaging are returned (manuals, accessories, etc.).

Products damaged by misuse, incorrect handling, or returned with missing components will not be accepted.

7.4. Order Verification at the Time of Delivery
It is recommended that the customer, before removing any packaging plastic, check if the product corresponds to what was ordered, if it is in perfect condition and if it is to their liking. In case of non-conformity, you should contact bernardinos.com immediately.

7.5. Refund or Exchange Deadlines
After receiving the returned product and verifying its condition, bernardinos.com undertakes to make the refund or exchange within a maximum period of 14 days. In case of a refund, this will be made via bank transfer to the IBAN indicated by the customer.

7.6. Return Costs

  • In case of exercising the right of free resolution due to mere dissatisfaction, the return costs are the responsibility of the customer, according to paragraph 2 of article 13 of Decree-Law no. 24/2014.
  • In case of defect, shipping error or damaged item, bernardinos.com will bear the costs of return or replacement.

7.7. Defective and Out-of-Stock Items
In the case of a defective or damaged item (whether due to manufacturing defects or resulting from transport), if replacement with an identical item is not possible due to stock shortage or end of line, bernardinos.com will offer the customer a replacement with a similar product or a refund of the amount paid.

Out of Stock
If one or more items are out of stock, you will be immediately informed by telephone or email, indicating the estimated delivery time.
If the item has been discontinued, an alternative will be presented to the customer if there is agreement.
